MoneyWorks Gold Downloads
Click the link below to download the required MoneyWorks installer. If downloading on Windows, you should Save the downloaded installer (instead of clicking the Run button), then double-click the downloaded file to install.
Note: You should check with your client whether they are running the latest version of MoneyWorks (MoneyWorks 9). If they are not running MoneyWorks 9, you will need to download the older MoneyWorks 8, 7 or 6 installer, which will require a separate MoneyWorks serial number. Versions before 6 are not supported.
Important: It may be that you have some clients using current and older versions of MoneyWorks. If you need to install several copies, you should first install the older one (e.g. MoneyWorks Gold 7), but change the name of the installation directory when prompted. Then install MoneyWorks Gold 9 into the default directory. If you need to open an older version MoneyWorks file, do not double-click it as double-clicking an old version file will start the latest installed version; instead start (say) MoneyWorks Gold 7 from the Start or Applications menu, then click the Open button.
MoneyWorks Gold 9 for Windows*
*Note that this will install the 64 bit MoneyWorks Gold for Windows, leaving any older version of MoneyWorks Gold in the untouched in the Program Files (x86) directory. Existing shortcuts will refer to the old version, and will need to be updated. If you would prefer the 32 bit version for Windows, click here.
Express and Cashbook Files
If your client sends you a Cashbook or Express file, you will be able to open it with the same version MoneyWorks Gold, work on it, and return the altered file to your client. They will be able to open it with their Cashbook or Express, provided you have not added incompatible information (for example, if you create a creditor or invoice, Cashbook will not be able to open the file).
